Butterfly Baskets started life as a poem, One day one of the partners was reading Daisy Goodwin’s book “Poems to Last a Lifetime” and low and behold the poem sprang out -

“I Meant To Do My Work Today”.

I meant to do my work today-
But a brown bird sang in an apple tree,
And a Butterfly flitted across the field,
And all the leaves were calling me.

And the wind went sighing over the land
Tossing the grasses to and fro,
And the rainbow held out its shining hand-
But what could I do but laugh and go?

Well that was the start of Butterfly, you now ask what about the Baskets? That takes us to the Ochil Hills, one sunny Sunday. Two people walking, imagine the scene, hills, river and a light breeze and lots of chit chat. Both had been pondering on an idea, not together but separately and through the chat it became clear they both had been having the same thoughts -“A Web Based Gift Basket Business”, offering something different.
